KCC Egis - Wonju DB 102-90

Egis dominated down low during the game scoring 66 of its points in the paint compared to Wonju DB's 38. Egis looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. It was a good game for the former international forward Guna Ra (203-1989, college: Missouri) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 27 points and 10 rebounds (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line). The former international Joon-Young Choi (200-1994) contributed with 25 points for the winners. American power forward Dedric Lawson (206-1997, college: Kansas) answered with 25 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line) and the other American import guard Ethan Alvano (185-1996, college: CSUSM) added 18 points and 4 assists in the effort for Wonju DB. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.

It was a great evening for Egyptian center Assem Marei (206-1992, college: MSU) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 23 rebounds. Naturalized American guard Justin Gutang (191-1997, college: Skyline JC) helped adding 10 points and 6 rebounds. The best for the losing side was American power forward Paris Bass (207-1995, college: Detroit) with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 11 rebounds and the former international guard Hoon Heo (181-1995) scored 12 points. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game.
